Me

I'm a guy living in the Midlands, UK. I work for a large multinational engineering company in Configuration Management.

Most of my free time is spent playing with computers - surfing the net or writing php web pages and software. Love to watch movies and listen to music. Have a wide range that I enjoy.

Mainly I write software using various languages such as perl, python as its really quick and easy to whip up an application and debug it. I am currently writing a web based accounts package.

On the web I use php (see my Diary page for example) when I can because of its support of dynamic content and easy compatability with SQL.

As well as this I have been dabbling in XML - just to get a taste of what it can do.

Recently I have built an Asterisk PBX system, a MythTv multimedia centre and automation using LightWave. I hope to document these soon.
